Shawn Starts A Hero Support Business

I wanted to make a living doing what I love to do - helping people to discover their power to improve their world and helping people to improve situations for themselves and for others.
I spent pretty much all of my free time and all of my extra cash working to advance progress toward this goal.

At first, I called my work 'Life Management Training' but then I discovered a couple of key players who had just started to study and apply the concept of 'heroism' to the prevention of bullying in schools and communities. I knew right then that heroism was a life management style! I was off to the races - metaphorically speaking.

I started pumping out content as fast as I could and as hard as I could until at last I had creating a body of work related to the subject. At the same time I knew that since there was no heroism community or population of people who were into heroism that I'd better spend some time working hard to support and promote the work of the other key players in the field - so that's what I did.

I connected with people online, went to conferences, I networked in person, I promoted people's stuff on social media, and I just talked online about heroism non-stop for like 7 years.

Eventually, thanks to the work of several key players and more and more people joining what was now a heroism movement there were several groups of heroism educators, researchers, and practitioners of the way of the hero emerging in the online world.

Now, I'm at a point where I've been able to publish some e-books, set up some online infrastructure, hone my content with several different populations, build up some merchandising for my brand, and have even started my own seminar - called 'Heroify Your Life.'

Everyday I'm getting closer to my dream of making a living doing what I love - and in the meantime I've made a few bucks here and there and helped get the word out about the value of heroic living to thousands of people! That feels great - but for now, I won't quit my day job!
